Maureen Connors Potter Ms. Potter has more than 30 years of health care experience. She most recently served as executive director for Disease-Specific Care Certification at the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. Her additional experience in the health care industry includes senior management experience in managed care, home care and disease management programs. Prior to joining the Joint Commission, Ms. Potter was Vice President for Quality Management at RMS Disease Management, Inc., an affiliate of Baxter Healthcare Corporation. Previously, she helped launch a managed care and disease management firm with Renaissance Health Care, Inc. in Westminster, Colorado; managed home care services at Denver Children’s Hospital, Denver, Colorado; acted as a consultant to health care networks; and concluded a 21-year medical career in the U.S. Army as director of managed care at Fort Campbell, Kentucky. Mr. Potter holds a Master’s degree in nursing from the University of Delaware, Newark, Delaware, and earned her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, New York. |
