Biography

Mr. Howard Lyons is currently Managing Director, London International Healthcare Ltd. and Chairman and CEO, Lyons Corner House Ltd. He possesses over 30 years’ experience in public and private sector healthcare experience throughout the UK and in over 50 countries worldwide, advising on hospital management and strategic health sector reform.

Clients include International Aid Agencies such as the World Bank, European Union, African Development Bank, DfID, United Nations (UNRWA) and International Finance Corporation as well as national government agencies, private hospitals and a large number of teaching hospitals, NHS Trusts and health authorities in Britain.

Mr. Lyons has published over fifty articles and papers on health care management, including Expert Paper on Health Sector Reform for Commonwealth Health Ministers' Conference in Barbados, November 1998. He has also published research on Clinical Academic Services in a London Teaching Hospital, Sex Discrimination in the National Health Service, District Planning Teams in England and Wales and Delphi Technique for Multi-disciplinary Planning and Management.
