Biography

Sybile Lazar is the Credit Review and Portfolio Manager of the Health and Education Department of the International Finance Corporation. In this capacity, she manages a team that monitors the financial and operational performance of all of IFC’s investments in the healthcare and education sectors. She is also part of the credit approval process.

Prior to joining the Health and Education Department, Sybile was structuring large electric power projects for IFC, where she joined in 1996. Prior to that, Sybile worked in the Project Finance team of Société Générale in Paris, structuring debt financings for large infrastructure and industrial projects.

Sybile holds a Master’s degree in Finance from the University of Paris-Dauphine and is a Certified Public Accountant in the US.
