Dr. Ralph Ashorn Dr. Ashorn undertook his medical training at Tampere University in Finland 1981. He conducted biomedical research work during medical studies and PhD in 1982, and worked as a research scientist in Tampere University from 1981 to 1984. He was responsible for setting up the embryology laboratory in Tampere University Hospital in 1984, and also worked as an embryologist in the world’s first test tube baby clinic at Bourn Hall Clinic in Cambridge, UK from 1985 to 1986. Dr. Ashorn finished his specialization in obstetrics and gynecology in Tampere University Hospital in 1991. |
