Founders’ Professional Development and Business Planning Forum

The Founders’ Professional Development and Business Planning Forum was held by the Panama Institute of Directors, Fundacion Interamericana para el Desarrollo del Mercado de Capitales (FIDEMEC) and the Global Corporate Governance Forum during April 9-10, 2008 in Panama City.

The forum focused on discussing key challenges in being a founder of an institute and challenges for Corporate Governance in the region. Another objective was to identify the key business incentives for supporting a Corporate Governance Center in Panama and Central America.

The forum also reviewed Business Plan for the Panama IOD and compared the business plan with other programs and developments in Latin America.
