International Development Days

International Development Days (IDD) has been held since 1996 and is the largest annual international development event held in Canada. It is organized by the Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME) with support from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA) to highlight the policy framework and opportunities for Canadian companies and organizations in working in developing countries. The mandate has expanded over the years to include emerging markets, global supply chains, public-private partnerships, private investment, etc.

The upcoming Conference theme is Competing and Succeeding in the Global Marketplace. The conference will be held May 20-22, 2008 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Head of IFC Global Corporate Governance Forum, Mr. Philip Armstrong and two of PSAG(Private Sector Advisor Group) members will be panelists at the event to discuss Corporate Governance and Global Marketplace.
