On behalf of the Organizing Commitee we are pleased to present the programme and open the online registration for the International Research Conference on Corporate Governance in Emerging Markets which will take place in Istanbul, Turkey from November 15th - 17th, 2007. The conference is organized by the Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF) and Asian Institute of Corporate Governance (AICG).
The conference will debate some key issues regarding corporate governance in emerging markets, including political power and corporate control, the relationship between financial sector development and corporate governance, the role of corporate boards in emerging markets and issues related to enforcement mechanisms.
The programme brings together a group of renowned researchers and includes open discussion forums to elicit an intense interaction between academicians and practitioners.
The conference will take place at the campus of Sabanci University
