The International Conference on Corporate Governance in Emerging Markets was held in Istanbul on November 15 – 17, 2007. At the conference, the Forum, in collaboration with the Asian Institute of Corporate Governance (AICG), presented research works investigating the impact of corporate governance in emerging markets’ firms performance and the roles of legal, economic, and political institutions in determining corporate governance systems.
