Development Partners Workshop on Corporate Governance in Africa, Tunis, Tunisia

The African Development Bank (AfDB), in cooperation with the Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF), convened a “Development Partners Workshop on Corporate Governance in Africa” to give the opportunity to development organizations and agencies that work in the field of corporate governance in Africa to better understand each party’s agenda. The workshop aimed to refine the coordination between the partners to further advance the corporate governance reform agenda in Africa. The workshop witnessed an open exchange of information on the activities that each participating organization is undertaking to promote implementation of good corporate governance in the continent. Participants successfully engaged in debates on what can be done to enhance greater levels of cooperation and collaboration. To this end, they constituted themselves into a Working Group for which the Center for Corporate Governance (CCG) in Kenya accepted to undertake the role of coordinator.
