The First Abu Dhabi Corporate Governance Conference

Abu Dhabi Center for Corporate Governance (ADCCG) was established as an initiative by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (ADCCI). Aiming to effectively promote and positively contribute to the development of the national economy, ADCCG encourages and assists the private and public sectors to adopt the highest standards and practices of corporate governance. It intends to accomplish this by means of raising awareness, building local capacity, and providing assistance and advisory services to businesses and government entities. 

Under the auspices of H.E. Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri UAE Minister of Economy, ADCCG is organizing the First Abu Dhabi Corporate Governance Conference of "Corporate Governance in the UAE: Current Realities...Future Prospects" on October 14, 2009 in Abu Dhabi. The objective of this conference is to high light the importance of corporate governance, particularly as we find ourselves in this critical time of crisis and a challenging economic environment.
