The World Bank Group (WBG)
The WBG is working with its partners on prevention, multi sectoral approaches, and expansion of basic care and treatment activities for those infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Its Global HIV/AIDS Program and ACT Africa (AIDS Campaign Team for Africa) are both helping to coordinate this work in the affected countries. The World Bank Institute Leadership Program on AIDS supports the World Bank's intensified efforts in AIDS lending, research and capacity building.
The World Bank Institute's Business, Competitiveness and Development Team mobilizes business responses against HIV/AIDS by working with local partners to develop business coalitions and their capacity to assist businesses design and implement workplace programs. The program is currently active in Ethiopia, Tanzania and India, and partners with IFC Against AIDS in project development and delivery.
Meanwhile, IFC's sustainability resources assist private sector client companies to develop sustainable projects with low environmental and social impacts. IFC's Environment and Social Development Department provides IFC clients with access to a range of skills, advisory services, and environmental and social facilities.

International Labour Organization (ILO)
The ILO Program on AIDS and the world of work provides information, links, and advice to help governments, employers, and workers understand and tackle the social and economic impacts of HIV/AIDS, program guidelines on prevention, care and measures to combat discrimination, and a Code of Practice that provides a framework for action in the workplace.
