Partnerships


Some of the following organisations act as Service Providers to IFC Against AIDS' client companies in the implementation of HIV/AIDS programs. In some cases, IFC Against AIDS has provided training to some of these organizations. In other cases, partner organizations and IFC Against AIDS have jointly undertaken specific initiatives.

The
African Medical and Research Foundation (AMREF) -------- is an independent non-profit, non governmental organization whose mission is to improve the health of disadvantaged people in Africa. The goal of AMREF is to contribute to the reduction of HIV and AIDS and STI transmission among the workfoce and their dependants in the private and public sectors.

Hope Worldwide, Kenya ------- HOPE worldwide is an international charity that changes lives by harnessing the compassion and commitment of dedicated staff and volunteers to deliver sustainable, high-impact, community-based services to the poor and needy. It works with companies in mitigating the impact of HIV/AIDS on their workforces.

The Energy and Resource Institute (TERI), a non profit, scientific and policy research organization, working in India and globally in the fields of energy and the environment. Its vision is to work for global sustainable development, with particular application to the diverse challenges faced by India, focusing on equity, efficiency and optimal utilization of natural and human resources.

Microcare Health Limited
--- a share capital Health Management Company based in Uganda that provides health management services on commercial basis. Its objective is to provide access to quality health sercices through reduction of fraud and managed care.

National Organization of Peer Educators (NOPE)
--- a non-governmental organisation based in Nairobi, Kenya, formed in 2000 within the Impact Project of Family Health International. NOPE whose goals is to institutionalise HIV/AIDS prevention and care programs within workplaces, provides services to companies, NGOs and community groups.
