MARTIN M. ROSEN

Martin M. Rosen was appointed Executive Vice President of IFC on October 15, 1961. He had joined the World Bank in 1946, and during his tenure there he had been Assistant Director, Department of Technical Operations, and was part of the Bank’s first mission to Yugoslavia.

After leaving IFC in 1969, Mr. Rosen founded First Washington, an investment firm specializing in international finance. He also held positions at Bache Halsey Stuart Shields Inc. and was director of a number of firms, including Atlantic Bank, City National Bank of Miami, and California Commerce Bank of Los Angeles.

Mr. Rosen died in 1984.
