Targeted Regional Responses

In response to the global financial crisis, IFC has worked with other World Bank Group members and international development and finance institutions to launch initiatives that address particular challenges faced by different regions.

These initiatives aim to coordinate responses by individual institutions, catalyze action and investment from other stakeholders, and provide targeted support to the sectors and countries most affected.
