Survey of a one-stop-shop for business registration in Azerbaijan (2009)
| The report presents the results of the first survey of a one-stop-shop (OSS) for business registration in Azerbaijan. The survey has been undertaken by IFC/WBG IC AS program in Azerbaijan. The objective of this survey was to assess the existing conditions for business start up in Azerbaijan after the Government introduced the one-stop shop mechanism and to develop recommendations for further improvement. This report is based on the results of responses from the managers of surveyed 142 small and medium enterprises (SME), as well as 510 of individual entrepreneurs (IE) on a representative survey sample. The survey was conducted in August – September 2009, representing selected regions and key sectors of the economy of Azerbaijan.

| The report presents the results of the first survey of the business environment in Azerbaijan. The objective of this survey was to assess the existing conditions for doing business in Azerbaijan in 2008 and to develop recommendations for improving them. This report is based on the results of a survey of managers of more than 1,800 small and medium enterprises (SMEs), conducted in late 2007/early 2008, representing all its regions and key sectors of the economy. |
