IFC and the Australia Indonesia Partnership (AIP) welcome your participation at the 2009 Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chain Conference, which is part of our Smallholder Agribusiness Development Initiative.

The event features global industry experts in supply chain management who will share proven models and global corporate best practices for increasing market share and profitability. This conference combines technical workshops with interactive strategy sessions and networking opportunities with executives from emerging East Asian companies.

Industry leaders from India, China, East Africa and Latin America will showcase high-value horticulture, coffee, cocoa, palm oil and poultry/feed operations.

Hot topics such as cost effective methods for obtaining GLOBALGAP certification, establishing smallholder supply systems, improving product availability, minimizing environmental and disease risks, as well as positioning for greater international access and success will be discussed.

His Excellency, Mr. Bill Farmer, the Australian Ambassador for Indonesia, and Adam Sack, IFC Country Manager for Indonesia, are scheduled to open The 2009 Sustainable Agricultural Supply Chain Conference, which will take place on March 12 – 13, at the Dharmawangsa Hotel.
