The Azerbaijan Corporate Governance Project (ACGP) was officially announced on May 8, 2003 at the "Investing in Azerbaijan - Gateway to the Newly Independent States" conference in Baku, Azerbaijan. The project started operating in July, 2004 and is implemented with the generous support of the Swiss State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). The project is scheduled to run for three years (July 2004 through June 2007).
